CUBRID EOL(End-Of-Life) Policy
Release Schedule
Cubrid ensures that CUBRID Server is released in a stable manner.
- Major Version: Released every 5 to 7 years according to the roadmap
- Minor Version: Released every one to two years
- Patch Version: Released semi-annually(Includes bug and security related patches)
Release Version
When CUBRID Server is released, we will provide stable support for the product for 5 years.

- Security Patch
- Hot Fitx
CUBRID Server, which is deployed and used at many websites, can have its EOL period extended by three years. The extension of EOL will be determined and announced in December, every year.

Upgrade Support
CUBRID Server maintenance services are provided to end users regardless of EOL.
However, EOL products are not eligible for feature enhancements, bugs, security patches, and hot fixes, but only maintenance services.
If you are using a version that is approaching EOL, we recommend upgrading to the latest stable version. Customers with Cubrid service contract will receive the upgrades at no cost.
